Description

"Be Like That" is a relatively easy song using open chords and a variety of a guitars and tones.

Guitar #1 - The main guitar played throughout is an acoustic guitar that starts off our song and stays in the entire time. Using open chords and arpeggios, this guitar keeps the song moving. Try using a large, thin pick while playing the acoustic parts to help achieve the rhythm sounds you hear in the recording.

Guitar #2 - Our main electric guitar plays a variety of melody lines and open chords with some overdrive. You will use an overdrive pedal with the gain set at 40% for the verses with some reverb. For the choruses we will use the same tone, only with the gain up at around 50% and with a little less reverb. Both sounds will use your bridge pickup.

Guitar #3 - We also have another electric using a variety of tones. For the heavier parts you will be using an overdrive pedal with the gain at around 60% in the bridge position. For the clean arpeggiated parts during the interlude, bridge, ending choruses and outro you will use a clean tone with some reverb, with the pickup switch in the neck position.
