Description
In this lesson we'll look at another simple song you can play with only one chord, and a basic strumming technique. This is a good way to practice beginning acoustic strumming along with singing, with a specific context. You can play this simple version of Frere Jacques using only an A chord.
FRERE JACQUES
Fre - re Jacques, Fre - re Jacques,
Dormez vous? Dormez vous?
Sonnez les matines, Sonnez les matines
Ding Ding Dong, Ding Ding Dong
Please know that the acoustic guitar techniques I present in these songs are very standard and very versatile, and may be applied to a wide variety of songs, in a wide variety of styles, both traditional and contemporary.
