Excerpt:
This is a combination of bends that I picked up listening to Merle Haggard's guitar player Roy Nichols. Roy left us a lot of great licks, and he influenced many guitarist like Brent Mason, Danny Gatton, James Burton, just to name a few. This can also be done in different positions on the neck, and on other strings also. This starts with a bend on the second (B) string in the 11th fret, the next bend is a prebent note in the 10th fret on the third (G) string, and then in the 7th fret on the third string followed by the 3rd fret on third string. A prebent note is bent before you pick the string, and usually released before the next note is played.
