Let's get a little taste of working on more than one string.
Let's get a little taste of working on more than one string.
This exercise, like those before it, can be either started on a pull off or a hammer on with the right hand. Here I'll start it off with a tap on on the 12th fret, first string, followed by a pull to the 5th and then a hammer. The second tap is on the 12th fret on the second string, and the same process is repeated.
Done slowly, it's fairly easy to do each tap repetition one string at a time. But once you speed up, you may find it easier to just bar the 5th and 8th frets and leave the string changing up to the right hand (see diagram).
