Description
The intervals of lydian are:
1st - WS - 2nd - WS - Major 3rd - WS - Sharp 4th - HS - 5th - WS - Major 6th - WS - Major 7th - HS - 1st
A - WS - B - WS - C# - WS - D# - HS - E - WS - F# - WS - G# - HS - A
Playing the lydian modes starting on the note A makes it sound like we are in the key of E and the A major is the IV chord. Again, we'll learn 3 different fretboard patterns to play the lydian mode. Many of these use the same notes, but in different locations. We'll use the patterns to play over a chord progression.
