For Part 2 of these Mondo E-String Death Chunk lessons, we will start to breakdown the sections of the rhythm that I played in the intro segment. That bit comes from a song that I wrote back in my old band and is very heavily influenced by the old school thrash styles of bands like Metallica, Slayer, etc. The main rhythm figure of his tune as a matter of fact, was very much in the vein of Metallica's Disposable Heroes, while the jump to F# (which will be covered in the next lesson) is a rather common Slayer move (more on that later).
