Playing Rockabilly Guitar
Here is just one of many ways you can play Rockabilly Style, at the end of the tab where it says "b bn whole note' just bend the 3rd string a whole note behind the nut which will take it to the A note but let the a A string ring while ur doing it. p=pull off s=slide b=bend bn=behind nut
Vince Gill Rockabilly
The most important part of this trick is keeping the open A string constant, I do pick whith a thumb pick and two fingers but you can do it with a flat pick also, hit the open A note at the same time you play the other notes and also in between them, The ending lick is an idea I got from Ray Flacke, he is a Nashville session player, You have to use the pull off trick on that one, On the rythem part I heard Vince Gill doing something like that, maybe not exactly but thats where I got the idea.
Rockabilly Style Guitar #2
This is a rhythm used a lot in up-tempo gospel music, and in country music. When I go to the D chord, I go into the finger-picking style. You can do it another way, it's just the way I play the D chord in this part. I hope you can understand the tab, it looks hard on tab but it's not that hard. Just keep the A open string constant, hit it the same time you play the melodies and in between them, same way on the finger picking. h=hammer-on b=bend
Doublestops and Rockabilly

Arpeggio Scale
Bluegrass Style
This is the style of guitar they play where I am from, this is a Tony Rice style of pickin, I am not much good at bluegrass pickin but its fun trying, it takes a lot of speed to play bluegrass which i dont have, this is done on an acoustic guitar and a very cheap one at that lol, I couldnt get the last lick in on the tab the last G lick but if you are interested in getting it just write me, its a good blugrass ending lick.
Doc Watson Fingerstyle Riff#3
Here is another finger pickin riff that Doc Watson uses sometimes, its not as hard as the tab looks, just keep the bass notes constant with the thumb on the D A and E strings and pick the melody with your fingers. This is also the same style that Chet Atkins uses in finger pickin.
Pentatonic Scales
These scales are the pentatonic scales. I use the #2 scale a lot going in to double stops. I use it in the "Open String Double Stop" lick and the "Albert Lee Double Stops". Notice I play it double the speed of the tempo. The first scale is a good scale to play fast, it's a finger stretcher. These scales are simple scales but very useful.
Basic Country Intro 1
Nashville Jam Session 8
Here is a good lead Rythem type doublestops you can use in a lot of ways, and a good kick off lick to mess around with at the begginning in the D Chord, just repeat those doublestop pull offs as i do in the sound file, i couldndt put all the pull offs i did on tab but showed you where they were at. p=pull off b=bend rb=release bend rep=repeate s=slide

Pentatonic Scale Played Fast
Jazz Lick #1
I guess you would call this a jazzy style country lick. But if you are a big time jazz player, don't laugh at me. :-) I am definitely no jazz player. I would love to be but just never did play it much. This is kind of a jazz lick or scales that I like to mix into my style of playing. You can use this in my style and kind of give it a different sound every now and then. I may post some more of these jazzy style licks later.
Nashville Jam Session 7
Nashville Jam Session 3
Here is a Fast intro Lick or Ending Lick as you can listen in the sound file, however you want to use itbut it has to be clean and smooth which i dont do the best on this one or it wont sound right. This Lick is on my #2 instructional video which explain in detail, if a video interest you let me know, i have 3 for only $15 each,in the USA, each has note for note tab. p=pull off h=hammer on b=bend
Brent Mason StyleRiff#1
This trick starts with an open string lick that brent mason does and goes into just a Pantatonic scale into to double stops. I pick this with the thumb index and middle fingers, kind of a banjo type roll, this exact lick is on my instructional DVD 1 whci i do slow and up to speed. p=pull off s=slide h=hammer on
